MadeGood Privacy Policy

Overview

MadeGood is a before-and-after job photo tool for iPhone. The app does not require an account and does not track users.

Jobs and Photos

MadeGood stores job labels, optional client details, addresses, notes, and job photos locally on your device. This information is not uploaded to Blue Leaf Kobo or a server by the app.

MadeGood may ask for Camera or Photo Library access so you can take or choose photos. Photos are processed on your device to create before-and-after images.

Touch-Up Mixer Handoff

If you choose to open a MadeGood item in Touch-Up Mixer, MadeGood copies the selected before photo and relevant job details—such as the job title, client, address, Job Area, and item label—through a shared container on your device. Touch-Up Mixer can return repair details and an optional after photo through the same on-device container.

This handoff does not upload the information to Blue Leaf Kobo or a server. Information imported into Touch-Up Mixer is stored locally by that app. Deleting it from MadeGood does not necessarily delete the copy already imported into Touch-Up Mixer.

Optional Team Sharing

If you enable Team Sharing, you choose an existing folder through Apple's Files picker. When you add or sync a job, MadeGood writes the job details and referenced photos to that folder so other people with access to the same folder can load and contribute to the job.

MadeGood does not create team accounts, run a sync server, or receive the shared content. Sync happens only when you request it. The folder owner and the selected storage provider control access, retention, security, and availability under the provider's own terms and privacy policy.

Location

Location access is optional. If you choose Use Current Location while creating or editing a job, MadeGood asks iOS to turn your current location into an address. MadeGood does not continuously track your location or send it to Blue Leaf Kobo.

In-App Purchases

MadeGood Pro is a one-time App Store unlock. Purchases and restore-purchase checks are handled by Apple through the App Store. MadeGood uses the purchase result to unlock unlimited sharing/export, but Blue Leaf Kobo does not receive your payment details.

Sharing and Exports

When you choose to share or export a job, area, or photo pair, the generated files may contain photos, labels, notes, client details, addresses, or other information you entered. For ordinary sharing and export, files leave MadeGood only when you choose a destination such as Messages, Mail, AirDrop, Files, or another app on your iPhone. The selected destination handles the shared content under its own privacy policy.

Analytics, Tracking, and Accounts

MadeGood does not create user accounts, include advertising, collect analytics or crash reports, or use information for tracking or profiling.

Retention and Deletion

Jobs remain on your device until you delete them or delete the app. Deleting a local job does not delete a copy already placed in a team folder. Shared-folder copies must be managed through the selected storage provider. Content already imported into Touch-Up Mixer must be managed there. A handoff waiting in the shared on-device container may remain available to the companion app until it is imported or both apps are removed.

Children's Privacy

MadeGood is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
